Born and raised in Russia, Nikolai started ballroom dancing at the age of 6. After competing in Russia and being awarded many regional titles, he was offered the opportunity to move to the United States to continue competing and training in one of the most competitive countries in the world of dance. He moved to the USA at the age of 18 and continued to excel his skills while gaining titles such as: - US National 10 Dance Champion - 4 times Latin National Championship Finalist - Blackpool Dance Festival Rising Star Runner Up 2019 - Finalists in all Major Competitions across the United States 2017, 2018, 2019 - Top 48 United Kingdom Championship + Blackpool Dance Festival - Semi Finalists at German Open Championships - Semi Finalists at Cervia Dance Festival, Italy. Nikolai has been invited to lecture at both Stanford University and the University of California, Berkley.
